We have a range of free services available to residents in Hull and East Yorkshire. As long as you are of working age, you don't need to be out of work or claiming any benefits to use our services.

Wellbeing & Mental Health: Coaching to improve confidence and reduce anxiety, or counselling for better mental health and building resilience

Professional support - your way

Since 2019, over 400 residents of Hull and East Yorkshire have used our services and reported feeling supported, more confident, less anxious and more able to find, apply for and, ultimately, get the job they want.

If you're thinking of contacting us, here are the main things you need to know:

  • We will help you get into the work you want and never push you into anything
  • Expect great communication and fast responses, always
  • We care about you and will support you until you no longer need us
  • Expect to be listened to and treated with respect by our small, friendly and non-judgmental team, always
  • All our services are free of charge to everyone wanting to improve their lives - you don't need to be unemployed or claiming any benefits
  • There are NO long waiting lists, NO paperwork to complete, NO need to sit Maths/English assessments
  • There are no upper age limits to using our services, you just need to be of working age and fit to work
  • All our coaching is provided by friendly, empathetic and enthusiastic industry professionals
  • YOU choose how you take our services - face-to-face, telephone or online
  • Pick and choose which support you want - take it all if you want or just get a new CV - it's up to you
  • Individual or group sessions at community venues are available
  • We deliver our groups out in the community in safe, accessible venues and provide refreshments too because we want you to relax and enjoy the environment as well as the insightful sessions
  • If you are travelling to us, we can reimburse return bus fares or mileage

So, what do you need help with?

We offer so much support - take it all or just what you feel you need:

  • Employment Coaching -
    Sessions with Angela, an experienced trainer, recruiter and employer who can help with your CV, job search and interview preparation, identifying what career options are open to you, exploring self-employment as an option, whatever you need to land you that next role

  • Volunteering Pathway into Employment -
    Group sessions exploring volunteering and training opportunities available to gain the skills and experience required to get into the kind of work you want to do

  • Wellbeing and Mental Health Support -
    Counselling for better mental health and building resilience or coaching to improve confidence and reduce anxiety

  • English or Maths Tutoring -
    Sessions with Deborah, an ESOL-qualified English teacher who can help if English is your second language or just with basic English or Maths skills

  • Basic IT Coaching -
    Anyone who has trouble using technology for job searching can also get some individual IT support ie: help with uploading a CV etc
